🍎🌻 That’s a Wrap… Until Spring! 🌻🍎
And just like that, the first season of Suffield Shops the Stands has officially come to a close. ❤️
What started as a little idea to encourage people to visit and support our local growers, bakers, makers and smallest of small businesses turned into something bigger and better than I ever could have imagined.
To every single person who picked up a stamp card, visited a stand, tried somewhere new, made a purchase, collected stamps, turned in a card, shared a post, told a friend or simply cheered this crazy little idea on — THANK YOU.
And to all of the vendors who jumped into this with me, welcomed new customers, stamped countless cards and donated prizes each month — thank you for believing in the idea and helping make it work. ❤️
I also owe an enormous thank you to Nick Bushnell at momNpop or MomNPop.us, who put an incredible amount of time and talent into creating and maintaining the Suffield Shops the Stands website. He took my ideas, requests, changes, more changes…and probably a few “Hey Nick, can you also…?” messages 😂 and turned them into a beautiful, easy-to-use home for the program. I truly could not have done this without him. If you need a website created, updated, or completely overhauled Nick is your guy!
🍂 And while Shops the Stands is wrapping up, our vendors are NOT!
Many of these wonderful farms, stands, bakers and makers will continue to be open and producing throughout the fall. Please don’t let putting away the stamp card mean putting away your support!
Keep stopping at the stands. Keep buying the eggs, vegetables, flowers, bread, baked goods, meats, dairy, handmade products and all of the other incredible things being grown, raised and made right here in our community.
The stamps and prizes were a fun reason to get out and explore — but the real goal was always to introduce you to local businesses you’d want to keep coming back to. ❤️
