Coconut cake for dinner? Absolutely.

Thank you for one of best slices of coconut cake (with homemade pineapple filling) I have ever had. Also, thank you and for the warm welcome and arm full of beautiful produce to take home.

The market runs every Wednesday, 3:30-7:30pm in Druid Hill Park (next to the conservatory). We’ll be back on 6/17 and looking forward to it!

Tonight is MORE community and a chance to celebrate Pride month at Main St. Market, 5-7:30pm at the Lot on 4500 Harford Rd (across from Safeway and you can park there too).

Time for another cup of coffee and back to it.

BAKEHOUSE UPDATE❤️
“The couple that epoxies together…”. Gerry is prepping the floor for our big expoxy event today. Practicing my paint flecks toss now. On hot Monday, we bribed eldest offspring with carnitas in exchange for building a porch with Gerry. Fair, right? The porch gives us a loading dock, a place for coffee breaks & visit with YOU between bakes. Next up? Moving equipment from back porch, aka the Adirondack Kitchen, & storage unit on Friday. The Bakehouse begins its transformation from a construction site into a proper production bakery! Our Wonder Twin superpower over the last five years is figuring out how to adapt spaces (first floor bedrooms, sunrooms, back porches) into a cottage bakery. The thought of setting up shop in a space that is ACTUALLY built for its intended purpose is a new one for us. Cool. We can work with that😉.

OVEN FUND: Thanks again for your generous support for the fundraiser! It was a success & purchasing as I write this-wow! Follow up via email soon for confirming details regarding your contribution. Original plan was mailing packages this week and needed to adjust due to the construction/move in timeline. Planning a summer 🍕party to celebrate too!

SUMMER PLANS: We are so excited to join TWO farmers markets this season! Starting in June, our weekly bake schedule will look like this:

WEDNESDAY 3:30-7:30pm,
(Druid Hill)
THURSDAY 5-7:30pm, (The Lot, across from Safeway on Harford Rd)
FRIDAY 3-6pm, Porch Pick Up for preorders/delivery,(our house, 3203 Rosekemp Ave)
