🍁 The first Cuisine Countdown of September is here with some fall treats and other favorites that you can enjoy all across the Ukiah Valley!

1. The fall drink lineup at Crepas Cafe is now available and we can’t wait to try all five — starting with that cute cinnamon roll ()
2. One of our favorite new lunch obsessions has to be the shrimp & avocado at Cultivo. It’s a perfect combo with sticky rice and garlic wine sauce that makes for the perfect finish. ()
3. The Spicy Mala Boat Noodles at Osha are so good you’ll find yourself driving to Hopland repeatedly. It’s an amazing blend of savory and spicy flavors in all the right ways ()
4. We’re still devastated at the loss of Dolly Parton, but her spirit carries on in this special drink “Dolly Departed” from Ukiah Brewing Co. It’s got a kick — just like Dolly! Hurry before it’s gone! ()
5. September means we’re shifting back into soup mode and Ellie’s is always ready with multiple options including spicy veggie tortilla which is also vegan! ()
6. Football season starts this week and this is your sign to go for the end zone with Slam Dunk’s legendary taco pizza. It’s a fiesta of flavor ()
7. One of our favorite on-the-go lunches has to be the Bento Box from Oco Time and now you can enjoy it daily because Oco Time is now open for lunch Mondays starting at 11:30! ()
8. The fall favorite Bourbon Truffles are back at Nook Gelato and that might be the best news we’ve heard all week! ()
9. Let’s finish off with another fall specialty: pumpkin cannolis from the cannoli queen Good Eats & Treats. Go grab yours new at Testa Coffee & Wine! ( ) 🎃

🌮 Who’s hungry? Because it’s time to discuss our favorite food and drinks around in another Cuisine Countdown!

1. Our current obsession is an old favorite: shrimp queso tacos at El Azteca. They’re packed with massive shrimp and melted cheese all served up in a perfect hard shell. ()
2. Looking for an addictive appetizer? Then head to Patrona for the ham croquettes. They’re so good you might order two plates! ()
3. When it comes to comfort food, the Tagliatelle Pasta at Cultivo is the best around. The chicken sausage is light but full of flavor all topped off with Chef’s amazing win cream sauce ()
4. The end of summer is an exciting for seasonal treats and lucky for us Elote is back at Ukiah Brewing Co! Hurry in, it won’t last long! ()
5. School is back in session and lunch on the go is important and that’s why we love the Shiloh Wrap at Forks Cafe is perfect. It’s just like the salad but handheld! (.cafe)
6. Need a reason to brave the construction traffic in Hopland? Then feast your eyes on these beautiful craft creations ()
7. If you like your sandwiches spicy, then head to Windmills for the Buffalo Crispy Chicken Sandwich. You can’t beat those crunchy pickles and coleslaw combo (.2003)
8. Here’s another highlight from Hopland, check out these fall favorites: house made pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin spice scones ()
9. Run, don’t walk to Testa Coffee & Wine to grab these cheesecake and edible cookie dough bites. So good, they’re addictive! ( ) 🍪

📝 What’s a day in Ukiah like? It’s whatever you want it to be! Start off with a bike ride, enjoy breakfast at your favorite spot, take your dog for a quick hike, do a little shopping and eat lunch downtown then maybe ride a kayak at Lake Mendocino and finish it all with a movie. The best part is there’s no wrong answers! Go out, explore and just be u! 🛍️🥾🧭
