A ghostly jigsaw puzzle is coming to life 👻🧩✨!

One of our favorite things about Pop-Local is getting to watch our vendors grow, dream up new ideas, and bring new products into the world, which is why we’re so excited to share a Kickstarter campaign from one of our very own PNW illustrators, Jason Heglund of 👋 Hi, Hello There - Jason !

Jason is an illustrator with a love for bringing far-off places, monsters, ghosts, magical creatures, and cryptids to life (all hand-drawn!). His illustrations make their way onto all kinds of fun art goods, from prints and stickers to enamel pins, hats, books, and more — Pop-Local is proud to carry some of his work in our shop!

His newest project? The Curious Ghosts Club Jigsaw Puzzle 👻

Think spooky-fun: a ghostly illustrated scene transformed into a jigsaw puzzle you can piece together at home and perfectly ready to display upon completion. Jason is currently bringing the puzzle to life through Kickstarter, and supporting the campaign is a great way to help an independent PNW artist turn a brand-new product idea into reality.

CALLING LOCAL VENDORS 🤠🌲🎶

We’re excited to bring a curated lineup of local vendors to the upcoming Waterfront Vancouver Bluegrass Festival, and applications are officially OPEN ✨ !

Join us for a free, all-ages weekend of live bluegrass, river views, local goods + good times at Vancouver Waterfront Park.

📅 September 12 & 13, 2026 📍 Waterfront Park | 695 Waterfront Way

We’re looking for a mix of local makers, artists, PNW brands, packaged goods + other unique independent businesses to join us for the weekend. Bluegrass + event-themed goods are encouraged!
Please note: To support and complement the Waterfront's existing restaurants and dining establishments, we will not be accepting food vendors for this event.

Vendor spaces are limited to just 10–14 spots, and vendors will be selected to create a diverse, well-rounded market.

* 10' x 10' outdoor vendor spaces — vendors provide their own canopy + full booth setup

* Two-day festival — canopies may be left up overnight

* Vendor Hours: Saturday 12–6:30 PM | Sunday 12–6 PM

* Both days of participation are required. Any exceptions or alternate arrangements must be requested and approved in advance.

Happy 4th of July from Pop-Local! We'll be open regular hours today and celebrating America's 250th birthday with a special Lunti Matcha pop-up from 3–6 PM.

If you're spending the day around the waterfront, stop by and treat yourself to one of Lunti's handcrafted matcha drinks, made with premium first-harvest Japanese matcha. They'll also be serving a limited-time Fourth of July special alongside this month's Filipino-inspired seasonal feature.
