LuDa Customs Repairing guitars for less,
Because they deserve to be heard Hi I'm Dane. Luda Customs is a small home based business. We offer all services and repairs.

Started in 2011 for the love of music and the passion of working with our hands. The dream of building my own guitar was really the spark that set flame to this fire.
10 years later and that fire is still burning. Building up experience and knowledge by repairing almost every stringed instrument there is was priority number one. Setups, electronics, fretwork, neck repairs and custom finishes (jus

t to name a few) is one call or message away. Our online store was not part of the plan but throughout the years, meeting and chatting to alot of musicians, dealers and distributors, we wanted a convenient way of offering products to fellow musicians. From small parts to double basses, we supply it all, it's just one click away. PS: Luda stands for Lucinda and Dane. ; )

You have to have some fun when 2 clients pop in with the same guitar in the same week....

Take some time this weekend to clean yours, but be careful... 😅

A full transformation, from worn to wonderful. A fresh new finish, smooth, clean, and completely revived. A satisfying before‑and‑after journey that shows what careful restoration and refinishing can do for a classic instrument.

Installing a Cherub preamp into a classic guitar… but with a little “magic delay.”

A fun mix of guitar work, luthiery, and a bit of humour while bringing this classic guitar into the amplified world.

There’s something special about a Martin — the way it feels, the way it resonates, the way it responds. But even the best guitars need a little love now and then. This one came in with loose binding along the body edge. In the before clip, you can see the separation clearly — a small issue that can become a big problem if left untreated. After carefully cleaning the area, re‑gluing, clamping, and polishing, the binding is now smooth, secure, and seamless again. It’s always satisfying watching a repair go from “uh‑oh” to “oh wow.”If your guitar’s binding ever starts lifting, cracking, or separating, it’s worth getting it sorted early. A clean fix today prevents a costly repair tomorrow.

Not every guitar needs replacing.
Sometimes, it just needs a second chance. 🎸✨
This Garrison acoustic came into the workshop with the neck finish peeling badly. Not only did it look worn, but it also affected the feel of the instrument.
The old finish was carefully stripped away, the neck prepared, and a fresh finish applied to bring it back to life.
The result? A smooth, beautiful neck that looks great and feels even better in the player's hands.
From peeling finish ➡️ fresh start.
