This pair of Paradigm Speakers Studio 20v5 are in exceptional condition. This brilliant two-way beguiled Robert J. Reina in Stereophile Magazine:

"Whenever I listen to a revision of a Paradigm speaker I'm already familiar with, I expect to hear an improvement, but one more evolutionary than revolutionary. With the v5 iteration of its Reference Studio 20, Paradigm has surprised me. This detailed, dynamic bookshelf model has a naturally coherent integration of the midrange and high frequencies that I found intoxicating—it may have set a new benchmark at its price for stand-mounted speakers."

Specifications:

Two-way, bass-reflex bookshelf speaker.
Drive-units (both with IMS/Shock-Mount chassis): 1" (25mm), ferrofluid-damped/-cooled G-PAL dome tweeter; 7" (178mm) S-PAL-cone woofer with 1.5" (38mm) voice-coil and AVS die-cast chassis.
Frequency response: 54Hz–22kHz, ±2dB (on axis), 54Hz–20kHz, ±2dB (30° off axis). Sensitivity: 90dB room, 87dB anechoic. Recommended amplification: 15–180W. Maximum input power: 110W.

Unfortunately, packing and paperwork are AWOL, but the $1200.00 includes the matching J29 stands.

While they may not be housed in the exquisite cabinetry of the Atalante range, the .fr Sprint series offer much of the sonic DNA of their rightfully praised siblings thanks to the use the same RASC tweeter and BSC cones. In fact, we feel the Sprint 4 is the $3000 benchmark. We also think the Sprint 3s look the part on the lovely speaker stands.

Hiding in plain sight.

Year end inventory went relatively smoothly but there are always surprises. We happened upon a couple of Paradigm Speakers Defiance X10 subwoofers. This series is now discontinued and is taking up space.
