To hell with it, one more day!

Not sure if it’s cause we’ve got enough candy left over to give us heart palpitations, or that the last couple days of November have been shorts and t-shirt weather, but regardless we’ve decided to roll with the sale for one last time!

Y’all know the drill, everything in the shop is 15% off but drop a Like and a Comment on this post and we’ll up it to 20%! The week might just be starting for us, but figure a little mid week savings could help get ya’s over the hump :D

Guess we can call this a (mostly) Shonen Jump Sunday post with these anime fighter games! What’s weird about this trio is that they’re actually all 3 on 3 style fighting games, seriously didn’t expect that at all.

Dragon Ball Fighterz is probably the most traditional of the bunch with all 3 members being available throughout the match to be tagged in or provide assist attacks to extend combos and crush the opponents defense. Quite similar Marvel vs Capcom 2 & 3 if you’ve ever played either of those.

One Piece Burning Blood is actually a bit crazier, it’s a 3v3 but you also pick 3 assist characters with their own perks and abilities, which really ups the variety and possibilities in this chaotic 3D arena brawler style game.

Speaking of Bandai Namco’s arena brawler style gameplay there’s also One Punch Man A Hero Nobody Knows. This is a 3v3 brawler as well, but if you pick Saitama on your team you’re stuck trying to survive a 2 on 3 match waiting for him to arrive, but when he does well ya know… he one punches people and saves the day ;D. The other charming feature of this game is it does have a create a character, so you can make your own hero in a game loaded full of some pretty wacky and over the top characters.

Let’s get a little Super Nintendo posting happening with a quick trio of some LJN and WWF wrassling titles.

You can trace the entire history of the LJN SNES wrestling games in this trio set here. With the humble beginnings of Super Wrestlemania where the characters don’t even have finishing moves, to Royal Rumble where they added both finishing moves… AND the Royal Rumble, and finally leaning into the over the top craziness of the mid 90’s with the likes of Mortal Kombat, we’ve got WWF Raw which added the highly secretive and devastating Mega Moves.

Of course one of the biggest selling point of wrestling games is the roster and these three games make up a collection of absolute legends like The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Yokozuna, Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, Macho Man and many many more. But if you go all the way back to Super Wrestlemania you can play as the Canadian legend himself, a high ranked sumo wrestler and considered by many to be one of the nicest men to ever grace the ring we’re talking about John Tenta himself, otherwise known as Earthquake :D

10/28/2026

Hey hey everybody! Sorry for a bit of the radio silence, we’d love to chatter just been busy trying to get rid of those pesky giant stacks o’ games on the counter that need to be priced out and put away… might not be as scary to all of y’all but we definitely see ‘em in our nightmares :D

Speaking of scary, we decided to get into the Hallow’s eve spirit from now until Sunday with our Spooktacular Halloween Sale!

We think you all know the rules but just to offer up a refresher, everything in the shop is 15% off till Sunday but drop a Like and Comment on the respective sale’s day post that you happen to be in on (or planning to come in) and we’ll up those savings to 20%! You get a bit more spooky savings, and we mooch a bit of activity off of the always watching, never ceasing, void of eternal darkness that is social media algorithm! …we think, we’re honestly not too sure just what the hell kind of impact it might have on our socials ;D

We’ll also have candy to offer up all week and especially on Halloween of course, which we’ll also be getting in the spirit of things by dressing up as well. Should be an excellent sale and an even better scary holiday, we hope to see ya here.

I am vengeance, I am the night, I am… a variety of Batman games for the PS4! Yes we’ve got a quadruple set of Caped Crusader games hitting the shelves just in time for the weekend!

First if you want a more interactive story kind of gaming experience, give Batman the Telltale series a try. It is an episodic narrative driven adventure game, pretty much a Batman version of Telltale’s The Walking Dead series and that ends up working really well with Batman’s interrogating and investigating skills, really makes you feel like you’re experiencing the “World’s Greatest Detective” side of the Dark Knight. Do keep in mind with the Season Pass disc you do need to download the remaining episodes through the Playstation Store but they do still look to be up and available at the moment.

The other three we’ll just group together, it’s the complete Arkham trilogy with Return to Arkham including both the incredible Arkham Asylum and Arkham City games including all their DLC content and rounding out the series is Arkham Knight. While there is a bit of detective work and investigations taking place during these games, these lean way more into the pummeling and taking down of henchmen and eventually the squaring off against the incredible cast of Batman’s Rogue’s Gallery including the likes of Mr Freeze, Harley-Quinn, The Scarecrow, Two-Face and of course the clown prince of crime himself, The Joker. Of course the crown jewel for this trio of games is that the legends Mark Hamill and the late, great Kevin Conroy voice the Joker and Batman in the Arkham series. So if you’re a The Animated Series fan, you know you’re getting some of the absolute best performances to ever grace the characters.

Got a mix of that Game Boy Color fix hitting the cabinets! While handheld versions of games usually have reduced features or overall quality these handheld versions are actually pretty darn good for what they manage to jampack into the cartridge… except for maybe one particularly ambitious one.

Mickey’s Speedway USA has all the hallmarks and quality you would expect from a Rare title, with great kart racing gameplay and classic Disney characters. Mario Golf just has that solid Camelot Software engine and mechanics that just make this a delightful experience. Street Fighter Alpha might be one of the best handheld fighters available at the time, maybe only rivaled by some of the chibi SNK fighting games if you can even find any of those.

Lastly GTA2 tries to jam pack the most of the criminal experience we loved from the PS1 into a handheld experience, but unfortunately clunky controls and some overall buggy quality does make it a bit a slog. That being said, it is still pretty damn impressive what they managed to fit into this game, just the overall ex*****on falls a little short. Definitely getting into that “for the diehards” kind of quality.
