Hello everyone! Well after three years of being dormant we still seem to have a huge following. So it seems our product is still in demand? Please tell us why you liked our fresh fruit and veg... do you still feel we can offer something that is not available elsewhere? Even my own kids want it to come back!

IMPORTANT!

I have had to take the decision to close Fresh Idea Direct Ltd for two months. This will take immediate effect.

I am aware that those with recurring orders need refunds and will process these today, tomorrow and Tuesday. I am working through a back log of emails and messages and will do my best to reply to all over the next 48 hours.

I am confident that we can develop a better ordering system but so far this has proven much harder than originally thought, sadly the new website has not been as effective as I had hoped and is not allowing us to provide the standard of service I wish to provide. Rather than struggle forward I have decided we need to stop and restructure what we do.

As many of you already know Fresh Idea Direct started because of an idea I had to expand our import/export business. It took off immediately with a huge initial surge in orders. I had two young kids who were being dragged to markets with me along with a stepson who I was home educating, a farm and other business to run and a husband working offshore. I have invested hugely in the business both financially and in energy, it has been normal to live on two hours sleep. The ordering system has been crucial to the business and until we can get it right I have sadly had to make this decision.

Thank you to all of our customers many of whom are regular repeat customers. I hope we will be back soon with a much better service for you. In the meantime I apologise for your lack of supply of quality fruit and veg. I will keep you updated and hope we can supply you with a much improved service again soon.

Once again I predict that there will be a little left over when we pack up for our holiday (we are not delivering 24th-6th Jan). If you know someone (preferably in the Blairgowrie area) who is really feeling the pinch this year and would hugely appreciate a wee bit of extra veg and maybe a bit of fruit we will try to make sure this happens. Please pm me with a name and address, I will just drop them off as a secret Santa. We brought a smile to the faces of some lovely people last year.

Quick reminder: We close on the evening of 23rd December until we start back on the 7th January. This week will be as normal but if you are in Fife you need to order for Tuesday instead of Thursday. If you are in Pitlochry area it will be Wednesday instead of Friday. The rounds are very full so please book asap if you still want a box before Christmas.

We still have a few Christmas trees left. If anyone would like one or you know someone who hasn't got one but would really appreciate one then I can sell them for £20 this weekend and I will donate £10 of that to the Scottish Air Ambulance. Please pm me.

We are looking for someone to help us with marketing and the growth of our brand in 2016. Do you know someone who is experienced in this? Are you a social network marketing guru? Must be capable of working and getting results alone. Perhaps you already work for an agency who specialise in this and can help us?
