STAR WARS – THE RISE OF SKYWALKER PREMIERE TICKET
Really happy to finally add these fantastic Los Angeles premiere tickets and invitations for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to my collection. 🎬

The world premiere took place in Los Angeles on 16th December 2019, celebrating the final instalment in the Skywalker saga.

What makes these particularly special is the incredible design of the ticket.

It folds out to reveal pop-up figures of Rey and Kylo Ren, recreating their iconic confrontation on the remains of the Death Star.

The accompanying invitation is also beautifully designed, with the invite section sliding out to reveal the event date and location.

I’ve always loved collecting Star Wars premiere tickets, passes and invitations, and pieces like these are a great reminder of the incredible attention to detail that goes into these exclusive premiere items and my own experience attending some of the premieres.

PRINCESS LEIA – OPX 8x10
One thing I absolutely love collecting is blank OPX images, and I recently stumbled across this fantastic 8x10 of Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia in The Empire Strikes Back.

It’s always a little bittersweet finding images like this, knowing that sadly they’ll never get Carrie’s autograph.

But regardless, it’s a great image of Carrie and a lovely addition to the collection.

Sometimes it’s not just about getting the signature it’s about finding an image that you really like

In London this weekend for a music event, and staying not far from The Old Vic brought back some fantastic memories. 🎭

It reminded me of a very special evening back on Monday, 7th October 2013, when I had the incredible opportunity to meet the legendary James Earl Jones.

A truly unforgettable moment meeting such an iconic actor, whose voice and performances have left such a lasting mark on cinema and, of course, the Star Wars universe.

Funny how being back in a familiar part of London can bring back good memories from more than a decade ago! ❤️

RAYMOND GRIFFITHS – TPM GONK DROID

One guest I’m really excited to meet at this year’s Echo Base LIVE is Raymond Griffiths, the man behind the GONK Droid in The Phantom Menace.

I’ve been hoping to meet Raymond for several years now, so finally getting the chance is a fantastic opportunity to add another Prequel signer to my Star Wars Prequels Book.

Alongside his GONK performance, Raymond also stepped in as an Anakin Skywalker stand‑in, serving as the second‑unit double for Jake Lloyd during filming.

A brilliant bit of behind‑the‑scenes history that makes him an even more fascinating guest.

Counting down the days to finally meet him.

REMBERING KENNY BAKER
23rd Aug 1934 - 13th Aug 2016

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since we sadly lost Kenny Baker, the man behind one of the most iconic droid characters in cinema — R2-D2

I was lucky enough to meet Kenny several times over the years at various conventions, and he was always quite an unforgettable character himself!

Kenny could be funny, grumpy and incredibly entertaining, but he was also great with the fans who came to meet him. ❤️

One particular memory still makes me laugh.

At one Showmasters event at Earls Court one summer, I was having an autograph signed when Kenny actually fell asleep halfway through signing one of my OPX images! 😆

His wife had to keep nudging him and saying, “Kenny… wake up!”😂

Those little moments are what make meeting the legends of Star Wars so special. It wasn’t just about getting an autograph it was about the memories and stories you took away with you.

10 years on, Kenny is still very much remembered and missed. ❤️

Thank you for giving us one of the greatest characters in Star Wars, Kenny.

May the Force be with you. 💫

LOOKING FOR NEW SIGNERS

I don’t usually ask for help, but finding new Original Trilogy signers or Prequel signers is becoming tougher every year.

So I’m reaching out to the wider Star Wars fans and community for help.

If you know any cast, crew, model makers, puppeteers, artists, or behind‑the‑scenes legends from the Original Trilogy & Prequels based in the UK that I haven’t met yet, I’d love to connect with them, chat about there time working on the films.

Any leads, introductions, or suggestions would mean a lot.
