Testimony time: This is Matthew. I caught up with him a few weeks after buying one of these bands from our shop at SPREE (headbands are a thing - just ask any football-mad young person!) - He told me he’d been wearing his headband ever since. He also shared that he’d been wearing it every day at school and it has started many conversations about Jesus! He feels God may have given him the spiritual gift of evangelism. How encouraging to see set apart young people shining for Jesus! It’s exciting that our resources can help play a small part in people’s journey with God (in many other ways than this fashion piece!). Please pray for continued boldness for Matthew, and grace for every conversation his little headband starts… for God’s glory! 🙏 (photo permission given by his parents)

Would you believe us if we told you that Gary and Mary both turned 70 this year?! This photo was taken after a long day packing down a huge shop set-up at the brilliant SPREE Southwest event for young people on a weekend in June - where over 3200 people gathered to have fun, grow and encounter God. We saw many young people come and buy Christian books and gifts from the stall, some even buying books or bibles for friends and family members. 🥹 Shout out to Gary and Mary (or as some like to say, Gazza and Mazza!) What a great couple serving God and still going strong at 70! All by the grace of God. Thank you for your continued support of Bridge Books! Do come and say hello as you find yourself out and about this summer 👋
