As with any build it’s pretty much impossible to get it all done with out the help of those nice chaps over at Mini Spares and yet again another delivery of can’t build without it parts has arrived 😀

Endaf did a superb job on the roll cage install, and now a visit to Ian at Dusty’s Auto Distillery for the cage and welded areas to be painted – and again, armed with some sweets, the job was done in record time !

With the car stripped down and subframes and wheels fitted for transport, a trip to visit everyone’s favorite Welshman, Endaf Owens ( Owens Fabrication ) and we’ve been in the business long enough to know that chocolate treats always make everyone smile !

PLAYMINI - RALLY MINI
As with all unfinished projects it needed stripping right down to nothing, especially as it was heading off to Owens Fabrication for the roll cage fitment … enter the husband and wife dismantling team of Playmini who really enjoyed stripping all the sound deadening from the roof !

A totally new direction for Playmini. As we have always been track focused with our motorsport, but are now trying a new discipline and are about to enter the world of rallying !

We have found ourselves a donor 1275GT Mini and over the next few months will be preparing this for racing, a steep learning curve for us as so much of the build, components and setup are going to be vastly different to our Mini Miglia or FIA historic !
We will post the progress of this build as we go
