The weekends munro journey started with Geal Charn. An easy push for quality descent. The recent dry weather keeping the peat bog to a minimum😎

The second munro Beinn Bhuidhe was tougher than it looked on the map. Steep double track climbs with some light scrambling to get to top of it.
Spent too much time looking for some Eclipse.
The high speed blast to bottom had some fun attached.
A couple of boxes ticked, itches scratched...back to work next day.
Good weather, low midge and people count, job done 😃

Mtb weekend, starting with the tourist trails of Caberston. 😅
Then up to Ballater for its tourist hot-spot trails...Mastermind, Heartbreak Ridge, E.T(plus the trail next to it) and Sherpa(Final Destination or Culbean dh). 😎

Amazing trails to ride in a hot sunshine day..... Rock, root and loam with a generous amount of granite slab, leaving and aftertaste of roost and dust that lingers in the air as thy shreds the earth fantastic 😃

Back to work in the bermed valley next day. 😏

🚴 Free Bike Marking Event – Glentress, Peebles

Police Scotland will be at Glentress on Thursday 9th July, between 10:00am and 1:00pm, offering FREE bike marking to help protect your bike from theft. Please note that a limited number of free marking kits will be available.

Whether you’ve just bought a new bike or have been cycling for years, we encourage you to register your bike on the national BikeRegister database.

BikeRegister holds the details of tens of thousands of bicycles across the UK, helping police identify and return recovered bikes to their rightful owners, as well as acting as a deterrent to thieves.

Come along, have your bike security marked, and take a simple step to help keep your bike safe.

Kyle of Lochalsh, offroad to Aberdeen, with one overnight bothy kip, with David Emery the route planner.
Used the Mondraker Bikes Raze, stuck a VITTORIA UK Terreno xc trail on the back with a Pe**te Xc trail on the front. Load it down with Aeroe BikePack equipment and hope for the best weather in amongst some of Scotlands finest country side.
