A timeless ode to French femininity — each Limoges plate tells the story of a different muse, captured through the graceful hand of artist François Ganeau in the 1970s.

From Sarah en tournure in 1875 to Albertine de Paul Poiret in 1910, these porcelain portraits celebrate the evolution of fashion, allure, and independence — the art de vivre of every era.

All these women embody the spirit of France I love to share here.

This limited collection will soon be available on our Etsy shop — link in bio.

….a little Provençal sitting room, this cherub lamp casting a golden light across linen curtains and lavender stems in a jar. Some things don’t just decorate a home… they tell its story.

Paul promised to restore it, carefully, keeping its age and softness — just enough to let it shine again. Stay tuned — we’ll share its little transformation soon.

A beautiful vintage reproduction of one of the Rococo era’s most beloved paintings. Fragonard’s “A Young Girl Reading” captures a moment of quiet intimacy — a young woman in a butter-yellow gown, deeply absorbed in her book.

The gilt frame, though beautifully aged and gently flaking, only adds to its story and charm.

A reminder that even the most timeworn pieces can hold such quiet grace. 🌿

Would you display her in a reading nook or let her shine above a vintage writing desk?

Brought in from the hidden hills of France — a small collection gathered while autumn was quietly unfolding her palette of ochres, rust, and gold. The air carried that familiar softness before the rain, and every brocante seemed to glow a little warmer under the grey skies.

A hand-stitched floral tapestry, a pair of oil paintings in deep ebony frames, and a gilt figure frozen mid-stride — each piece holds a fragment of history, a whisper from another home.

There’s something magical about sourcing in this season… when the markets feel slower, quieter, and every discovery feels like a secret waiting to be told.

Max and his grandfather opened the brocante just for us this morning — the whole place quiet, still, and filled with the scent of old wood and timeworn paper. We wandered freely, touching, turning, and choosing each piece by hand — guided only by feeling and the stories each object seemed to whisper.

Paul uncovered the most beautiful finds: gilded frames, old mirrors, and delicate keepsakes that carry the soul of France with us.

Each one will soon make its way to London, ready to begin a new chapter in your home. The next collection is nearly ready… and it’s a special one.

Every brocante has its muse… this one, torch in hand, felt like she was guarding centuries of stories.

Wandering cobbled streets with Tin-tin on my back, chasing little adventures of my own…

France has a way of keeping you enchanted… a quiet street, a centuries-old façade, a café terrace glowing at dusk. No matter how many times I return, it never feels the same — and that’s why I know I’ll never be bored of it but fell in love with it again and again.

This vintage Tin-tin sweater is such a treasure — and will be available in our Etsy shop for its next adventure.

I imagine this cobalt blue compote once sat at the centre of a table, filled with sweets that children couldn’t wait to sneak, or simply standing proudly on a shelf, admired every time someone walked by. A little piece of everyday magic, ready to weave itself into someone else’s home story.

Bonjour & welcome to .
We’re Alexandra and Paul — a couple who fell in love with the charm of France and can’t resist returning whenever we can.

Along the way, we’ve also discovered a passion for brocantes — those magical markets where forgotten treasures wait to be loved again. This little brocante corner is where we share the pieces, stories, and soul of France that we bring back with us.

Join us as we wander through sun-soaked streets, hunt for antiques, and keep adding chapters to our French dream.

Brocante always feels like stepping into another time — every chair, painting, every gilded mirror has a story to tell.

I could spend hours getting lost in these little treasures. And of course, I couldn’t resist wearing my vintage coat for the occasion — a piece that feels just as timeless as the surroundings.

something magical about pairing history with fashion, don’t you think?

Our morning table feels extra special served in our beloved goose ceramic tray. 🪿🩶

We found this little treasure years ago at a brocante somewhere in the South of France, and it has travelled home with us ever since. It holds not just croissants, but also memories of slow mornings, sunshine, and wandering through stalls where every object whispers a story.

Thinking about France always.
