Today I'd love to see some pictures of your favourite chestnut models.

Here is one of mine, this is CRS Little Annie who was one of the Color Crazy Mare and Foal models from 2008. I have a real soft spot for the Susecion mould and I love the colour on this girl. Of course I also have the heavy white mare as well (couldn't not have the complete set could I).

Post your favourite chestnut coloured models in the comments below.

Today I'm sharing some of my favourite palomino customs with you. I've picked just six models that I've painted over the years to share.

First we have a custom Schleich Shetland Foal who has been painted to a lovely palomino with a white stripe and pink nose. This little cutie was painted in 2010.

Second we have one of my favourite ever pieces. This gorgeous resin carousel horse was painted to a beautiful palomino with purple tack and Swarovski crystals for some added sparkle. This gorgeous girl was my NaMoPaiMo model in 2018.

Third we have a lovely CollectA Arabian mare. This gorgeous girl was painted in 2011.

Fourth we have a rarity, which is a model in a larger scale. This is a Breyer Pony of the Americas who has been painted to a nice solid palomino. He was painted in 2012.

Fifth we have a little guy. This is a cute Breyer Mini Whinnie Standing Stock Horse who has been painted to a dark sooty palomino in 2014.

Finally we have another little custom from 2014. This is a HA Pepys foal who has been painted to palomino with Ben d'Or spots.

Which is your favourite out of this batch of models?

It's official! Your favourite Halloween horse for 2026 is Merry Widow

She's one of my favourites too, look at her spoooooky design. She looks amazing in my cabinet glowing at night and I do love the Marabella mould.

Tune in for a December Christmas horse smackdown and as always suggestions for future ones in the comments below :)
