Not done by us.
Ideal as a display table.
We will also have a few other items as well.

The pine table that we rescued has sold, it could have easily ended up in landfill or as fire wood.. But we gave it a chance, it’s now left Cambrian House Emporium on its new adventure.
We have some smaller but just as interesting items heading onto RepairRestoreRecycle.
We have a wobbly full length mirror, a badly upcycled cheap side table ( photos in comments) and an interesting table.

Cambrian House Emporium is open till 5pm today.
We are on the desk with Clive's Collectables
A few dealers are in adding to their units.
I have taken an anticlockwise walk around the emporium for a change. It’s always worth walking the opposite way because you see different items that you may have missed.

Earlier in the year we predicted that there would be a rise in the interest of Antique and Collectible Books. This has been a bit of a slow burn, but we have probably seen more books sold in 6 months than in the previous 6 years.
With the approaching dark nights, the cosy nook will become a go to place. Retro lighting and comfy chairs, a side table with a few books and a Gin and Tonic.
But, what about 2027.
Well, still too far away to make a solid prediction.
If the current trends in antique and collectible purchases continues it is going to be an interesting year.
The increase in searches for particular items plus a rise in auction prices being paid for them.
Fashions and trends change very quickly in today’s market. All it needs is something to be seen on a TV programme, on instagram or Pinterest. It is then the must have item, till next month when something else takes over.
We need to predict the market, buy before the customers realise what they want. Then sell and get out quick.
So, we are currently looking to buy ……..

So, some time away from the 21st century.
Very little internet or TV.
Some great empty beaches and Cadw sites in the middle of nowhere.
Black Sheep and The Dragon was happy, managed to find a few cemeteries for her to check out. She was very impressed with a medieval one. (Don’t ask 🤷‍♂️)
So back to the real world.
