Don't worry if you can't draw – I've prepared a range of bird templates to choose from, including tūī, fantail, kererū and more.
I'll guide you step by step, and before you know it, you'll have your own unique artwork to take home.
People often tell me how relaxing and enjoyable this process is. It's a wonderful way to slow down, get creative, and spend a few hours immersed in colour and texture.

I missed the opening ceremony... but gained a car full of wool! 😂🧶

Last Saturday was one of those days. Woolfest in Kumeu completely swept me away and by the time I arrived at Mairangi Arts Centre, the opening ceremony had already finished. 🙈

Still, I was thrilled to see my artwork, "Waterfall Beyond the Frame," hanging among so many wonderful works and to spend some quiet time exploring the exhibition.
Congratulations to all the winners! 👏
