Rabbit Island Coffee Co. Rabbit Island Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee roaster and brew bar located on the Māpua Wharf. We hope to see you soon.

We are speciality coffee roasters and also showcase a range of unique New Zealand made goods. We are based on the wharf in the idyllic small coastal village of Mapua in Tasman (approx. 30 km out of Nelson, New Zealand). We take our coffee very seriously and apply the latest specialty coffee skills and techniques, using science principles and our sense of taste to guide us in making delicious coffe

Produced in a wood fired kiln, no one piece is the same and the beauty is in the organic detail.

Seriously… who steals a church?! ⛪️

Not a joke. One of our gorgeous artworks made by the talented Daylight has disappeared from our shop 🤔 Unfortunately this isn’t the only thing that has gone missing from the wharf over the past week and we are understandably pi**ed off about it.

I don’t need to elaborate on how hard it is to run a small business in this current climate, and things like this affect both our business and our amazing local artists.

Karma is calling… and it wants its church back.
