We’re getting closer to our Grand Opening 👀 and that means the plants will be making their way from the west Asheville greenhouse to our new location in Fletcher! 🚚🪴

The big move is scheduled for next week, so come by the greenhouse this weekend to tide over your plant fix until our Grand Opening on September 12th!

After this weekend, we will be closing the greenhouse for the season and focusing on our retail space until spring brings back that warm greenhouse weather ☀️

This project has been a work in progress for a long time and we are so thankful for all the folks who continued to believe in the vision and share our excitement for this next chapter of Roots & Rarities 💚

We have something REALLY EXCITING starting next month and we cannot wait to show you. But for right now we’re gonna stay mysterious and just say…

Starting in July our greenhouse hours will be changing! Hours will be extended to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday for all you night owls out there, and closed M-F so we can put our weekday energy into this new and exciting project.

Saturday we’ll be vending with Asheville Community Plant Market at Unicorn Farm Nursery & Landscaping

The greenhouse will be closed Saturday for the market and back open Sunday!

Vendor Spotlight: Roots & Rarities 🌿

We’re excited to welcome Roots & Rarities to this month’s Second Sundays Market Series @ Wilderness Muse on June 14!

Roots & Rarities is an Asheville-based small business specializing in rare and hard-to-find houseplants, carnivorous plants, and unique specimens for collectors and beginners alike. Their selection always brings something unexpected, making them a perfect fit for our Rare Plants edition of the market.

Beyond the plants themselves, we’re especially grateful for the people behind Roots & Rarities. Many of you know them as the organizers of the Asheville Community Plant Market, and they’ve been generous community partners and collaborators over the years. From sharing knowledge and connections to supporting local plant lovers throughout Western North Carolina, they’ve been a wonderful resource to our community.
