THERE IS NO RELIGION HIGHER THAN TRUTH

Very excited to have this copy of Blavatsky’s “The Secret Doctrine” boxset in the shop. I was a little obsessed a few years back after finding a few dozen pamphlets of her writings. The link up with Hindu reformists is fascinating. I dig the supposed 19th century espionage going on against British colonial rule. Shipwrecks, Crimean war, intense world travels, etc.

The Secret Doctrine is the manual for Theosophy. If you want to get into the consciousness of the universe OR to load yourself for a critique of your magical friends it’s a nice thing to get acquainted with.

Famous Mammals s/t cassette in stock in the shop. My Swell Maps & Fall comparisons are pointless. We should instead be proud that aesthetic DIY punk can be from America, and even more importantly, the Bay Area in the 21st century. This tape was later reissued by Inscrutable, so you can look around for the LP if that’s your flavor. 🌞🎶
