The weather may still say summer, but our pumpkin experts are hard at work telling us it’s officially pumpkin time. 🎃

We’ve certainly been a lot less present here on social media for the better part of this year, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been hard at work behind the scenes.

We’re slowly starting to piece everything together for another fall season here at the farm, and we’re hoping to have our first initial stock of everything ready within the next week. (Don’t worry—we’ll keep you updated as we make more progress and are officially ready for visitors!)

And there’s plenty to look forward to. Our pumpkin crop looks great this year, the mums are coming along beautifully in all the sizes, and we’ll once again have straw, cornstalks and more to help you welcome fall at home.

We still have a little work to do before we’re ready, but we can’t wait to celebrate another fun season with you.

What a crazy, beautiful, and hectic start to our winter season. ❄️

I know I said we were simplifying this year… but what I didn’t account for was just how big you all continue to show up for us. And for that, we will always be grateful.

Despite offering fewer workshops, you helped us double the number of women we typically host. And not only that—you’ve shared our little business in the most generous ways. Because of you, we’ve been blessed to host family gatherings, company parties, and even the sweetest bridal shower. The past 14 days have been a whirlwind—full of laughter, pine needles, late nights, and moments that filled my heart in ways I can’t put into words.

In the busyness, I’ve fallen behind on updates—so here’s everything you might want to know:

And yes… even though I swore we weren’t ordering more evergreens, so many of you reached out that we went ahead and brought another big batch in. (I just couldn’t say no.)

A Few Seasonal Updates 🍂🎃

The weather finally looks to be drying out (well sort of 🤷‍♀️) — and it couldn’t come at a better time. With Halloween just around the corner, now’s the perfect moment to grab your pumpkins and fall decor for one last hurrah this autumn season!
I’ll be working on one final jack-o’-lantern restock this afternoon, just in time for the weekend 🎃
It’s hard to believe how quickly this season has passed. Every year reminds me that what makes it meaningful isn’t just what we grow — it’s getting to share it with you. Your visits, kind words, and support make all the difference- so thank you! ✨

As we look ahead, we’ll be kicking off the winter season tomorrow at Byron Meats Market (starting at 10am!) with the first of our holiday accents.
If you’re hoping to get a head start on the next season, now is the perfect time to snag some pinecones, pods, and other natural textures to ease into your winter decorating.
Speaking of winter, our holiday workshops are already well over halfway full! And we can’t wait to create fresh evergreen wreaths and porch pots with so many of you!

It’s that time again — Dahlia U-Dig season is here. 🌸✨

As we wrap up another growing season, it always feels bittersweet to celebrate the garden’s end. While we don’t have quite as many varieties this year thanks to the wild weather, we do have plenty of tubers to share — and honestly, that’s part of what makes this little tradition so special.

In this reel, you’ll spot the ones we have most abundantly: Sweet Fabienne, Brown Sugar, Zippity Do Da, Sweet Love, Feline Yvonne, and Natal. But just like years past, there are a few extra treasures tucked in too — varieties like Labyrinth, Peaches N’ Cream, and Cornel Bronze (just in more limited quantities).

🌦 The forecast for next week looks a little rainy here and there (but warm!), so we’re crossing our fingers for enough dry windows to welcome everyone in. Digging officially starts Monday, and all clumps are $5 each — you can dig as many or as few as you like. Some people come and stock up for next season, while others take home just a couple to try their hand at growing dahlias for the very first time. Both approaches are equally wonderful.

If you’re new to dahlias — don’t worry. We have plenty of resources on our YouTube channel and Blog to walk you through storing and dividing them over winter. 🌱

✨ Our 2025 Holiday Workshops are officially live! ✨

I know it’s only just starting to feel like fall (and trust me — we’re not slowing down with the pumpkins!), but we’re already looking forward to all that the next season brings. As the air turns crisp, there’s truly nothing better than closing out the year surrounded by fresh evergreens, festive accents, and good company.

All of our Winter Classes- both Porch Pot + Wreath workshops can be found on our website!

A quick heads-up: we’re keeping things a bit simpler this winter as we shift some of our time and energy behind the scenes. We’re continuing to work on projects and systems that will, hopefully, allow us to serve you in bigger, better ways in the years to come. Pulling back — even just a little — feels both scary and exciting, but it also feels like the right step for this season (I know in my heart it’s only temporary☺️).

I share this not to create pressure, but simply so you know: there will be fewer workshop dates than usual this year, and once they’re full, we won’t be adding more like we often do. So if creating with us is part of your holiday tradition, now’s the time to grab your spot.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to the farm, slow down together, and create something beautiful to celebrate the season. 🌲

They say there’s a chance for frost tonight 🥶 I’m hoping it might spare us just this once.. but either way, the past two days have been an all out race to document + label as much as I can in the garden (so if you’re waiting on an email response from me- I promise it’s coming!)
As we get closer to the weekend, I’m shifting gears to make sure the farm stand is good and stocked 🍂 You guys sure cleared us out of a lot of things last weekend (and for that we’re so grateful!) but in the next few days you can expect:

Plot twist… we ARE hosting our U-Dig Dahlia Sale this year! 🌸
Up until yesterday, I was convinced we were going to skip this sale that has become such a fun annual tradition.
This growing season, in particular, has stretched me thin, and for weeks I’ve been telling people the same thing—there just wasn’t enough capacity left in me to make one more thing happen.
But yesterday changed everything. My village of friends showed up unannounced in work clothes and gloves, ready to help.✨
They weeded, cut paths, deadheaded—tackling all the little things that I’ve fallen behind on while I’ve been busy focusing on fall pumpkins and mums.
They worked for hours while I tended to other projects and it me reminded me why I love this community so much. Sometimes it really does take a village… and I’m so grateful for mine 💕
The truth is, while we did experience some crop failures with our dahlias this year, the dahlias that did survive are thriving—tall, healthy, and bursting with blooms we’ve been using in our subscription bouquets.
We won’t have as many varieties available as in past years, but what we do have, we’ll have plenty of! 🌸
So, for the third year in a row, we’ll be offering $5 U-Dig dahlia clumps—a perfect way to grow your own stock at home.
Stay tuned this week as I share more details (and varieties!). The beauty pictured here is ‘Sweet Love’—a dreamy blend of soft romantic tones with upright blooms that are perfect for bouquets.
We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather, but we’re planning for the week of October 20th.

It may be unseasonably warm, but you all continue to amaze us with your support! We absolutely couldn’t do fall without all of you- And even with the warmer temps (that have this mum growin’, pumpkin farmer on edge) you continue to show up BIG TIME. I can’t say it enough, THANK YOU! ✨
We’re excited because it’s shaping up to be another great weekend at the stand. More mums will be making their appearance by morning- including our XL 16” pots (they’re in limited supply this year so be sure to grab one sooner than later if it’s on your wishlist).
We’ve also been working hard all week to be stocked with ALL the decorative pumpkins, jack o lanterns, straw bales, corn stalk bundles and more. Grab your goodies now while it’s nice enough to be outside, and you’ll thank yourself once the cooler temps do finally show up 🎃
