🙌🏾 Happy Thankful Thriving Thursday!

Last week, I shared the beginning of this transformation. Today, it’s time for the finished reveal! 🌸✨

I started with a classic Ermenegildo Zegna blazer, added flowers carefully cut from another vintage blazer and hand-painted the words:

Seed. Flower. Bloom.

Two garments with two different stories have become one Aliunique piece of wearable art.

That is the beauty of transformation: the original story isn’t erased. Every piece becomes part of something new.

God works that way in our lives, too. In the right hands, nothing is wasted. 🧡

From the original finish, to primer, and now gold paint, they’re coming back to life! And this is only part of their transformation. 👀✨

✨ Tuesday Thrift Find: Would You Look Twice? ✨

I found this woven basket for $14.99. It has some visible wear, but before passing on a thrifted piece, I look beyond the surface.

I ask:

🧺 Is the structure still sturdy?
🧺 Is the shape interesting?
🧺 Can the worn areas be cleaned, conditioned or creatively covered?
🧺 Does it have enough character to justify the work?

Not every imperfect find is a bargain—but sometimes wear is simply an invitation to imagine what the piece could become.

🎨 Thursday Original Art/DIY

Sometimes transformation begins by seeing new possibilities in something that already exists.

This classic navy blazer provided the foundation. The flowers were carefully cut from another vintage blazer and arranged to give both pieces a beautiful new story. 🌸

Today, I’m sharing the original look and the flower-placement stage. Next Thursday, I’ll reveal how everything came together!
