Here we are at Olentangy River Brewing Co in Lewis Center, and we’ve brought some of our favorite things with us! We’re thrilled that Delaware’s own, , will be joining us at Books Ahoy from 1-3pm on May 30th! Jarod is a writer & poet, and has published three books of nature poetry as well as the memoir Something in the Woods Loves You, about his lifelong struggle with depression and the healing power of the natural world.
Jarod’s newest work is the fantasy novel, Strange Animals, about an ordinary man discovering a hidden world of supernatural creatures and an unexpected home. See you all next weekend!

🀄 Ready to master an ancient game of strategy, skill & luck?

Join our Mahjong Class and learn how to play this fascinating tile game! Whether you’re a beginner or just want to sharpen your skills, our friendly sessions are perfect for all levels.

We encourage you to invite friends as a typical Mahjong game will be played with 4 players. If you don’t have a full team – do not fret! We’ll pair you up with new friends! Class size is capped at 16.

What you’ll get:

🀄 Step-by-step instruction to Mahjong from an experienced teacher. Note, you’ll be learning American Mah Jongg with from tiles with jokers and utilizing the National Mah Jongg League cards.
🀄 Practice games
🀄 Tips, tricks, and Mah Jongg etiquette
🀄 All game materials provided for use during the class (American Mah Jongg will be the version we will play)
