An update on our Orb Weaver- she’s a GIRL! Her babies should be here soon. It’s been fun watching her grow, build her web, and now lay eggs.

Just a girl and her orange slice. All three of our ferrets are obsessed with these citrus slices- I’m not sure if it is the size, the texture, or something else, but they are in love. It was so cute watching Pebbles chase around this toy while her siblings were napping.

All three sleepy babies in the sleeping bag 😴 They were all asleep when I went into their room, but I didn’t have my phone 🤣 I disrupted Boulder so he started crawling out.

I finally got caught up on laundry and only had one thing left to fold. Boulder still decided it was the perfect time to climb into the basket, roll around, and hide in the blanket 🤣

Slate came from a large feral colony. When we introduced her to Topaz, she took to her immediately. When Topaz escaped, Slate was noticeably sad for a few days. I knew then that we needed a second feral cat in order for Slate to thrive and have her social needs met. As a feral cat, she has no interest in people, but she loves other cats, and also makes attempts to socialize with our dog. It will be a while before we open the door separating the two catios, but if things continue this way, I think they will get along great!
