Look what showed up on my outside chair a few days ago! 😮

This beautiful moth laid a cluster of bright yellow eggs right next to her! I took a photo, looked it up and discovered she's a "Pink -striped Oakworm Moth" The eggs should hatch into little pink-striped caterpillars that feed on oak leaves in 7-10 days!

My grandson & I carefully moved them into a container so we can watch them and (hopefully see them hatch or start growing) together at our "Homeschool Pollinator Photo Contest" this Friday!!! 10am-12pm at The Sacred Garden in Dickson, TN.

Wish us luck in keeping the little ones happy until then! 🤞🐛
