I was really, really hesitant about this post.
I don't like posting these types of messages.
BUT ... Recently, we seen some very hateful and racist comments about books we offer that portray various cultures or groups. They have gone so far as to call out members of our Shop's ethnic identities.
We've also seen an enormous increase of very aggressive posts attempting to bully others with regards to their political beliefs.
We work really hard to have both our Shop and our social media feel safe , inclusive and tolerant.
A bookstore community should really be just positive vibes.
We are going to do our best to maintain positivity by deleting negative or hateful comments and hopefully blocking their sources.
We don't want to eliminate commenting on our platforms if possible. But we also really don't want to provide a forum for intolerance, hate or bullying.
Thank you so much for your understanding and support.
Btw ... We always welcome you to call us to discuss any matter you wish to discuss directly with us. 908-968-3711
