Over the years, we’ve been lucky to partner with Nā K**a Kai in different ways, and we’ve seen firsthand the meaningful work they do for Hawaiʻi’s keiki.

Through ocean education, culture, and stewardship, empowers keiki to deepen their connection to the kai as they grow into the next generation of ocean stewards.

As the 15th Annual Paʻakai Gala approaches, we’re encouraging local businesses and organizations to kōkua however they can, whether through sponsorships, donations, or other contributions.

It all goes toward keeping this important work moving forward for the next generation 🌊💪🏽

Aloha lā hānau to our beloved Mōʻī Wahine, Queen Liliʻuokalani.

As Hawaiian History Month begins, we reflect on her life and legacy that invite us to look back and carry forward the moʻolelo of Hawaiʻi.

Though Liliʻuokalani may not have worn an ʻahuʻula, she wore a crown, reflecting the Western standards of her time. Beneath the symbols of a changing Hawaiʻi was something that never wavered: her service, sacrifice, and a deep, unwavering aloha for her people. She embodied the ʻōlelo noʻeau “He ʻōpū aliʻi,” a heart shaped by kuleana to ʻāina, lāhui, and the generations entrusted to her care.

Today, we honor her life, her legacy, and the profound aloha she held for Hawaiʻi.

Naʻi Aupuni: The Conquerors of the Nation

The rise of Kamehameha Nui is a moʻolelo shaped by many. His path crossed with aliʻi of great mana, through rivalry, alliance, conflict, and kinship, each leaving their mark on a pivotal chapter in our history.

For us, telling the moʻolelo of Naʻi Aupuni meant looking beyond one name to the aliʻi whose own histories are connected to his. Through their ʻahu ʻula, we honor their presence within this moʻolelo and the mana and legacy each carried.
