Ain't this Machete grand? This string through Machete 251013 has a mahogany body in a classy nitrocellulose piano black finish and a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, which is such a sleek combo ✌️

Tone is courtesy of a single Rio Grande Pickups Muy Grande Humbucker with a single volume control... sometimes simplicity is key to getting badass tone! This guitar is set up in C # tuning, so it's geared up for some heavy riffs!

And the cherry on top of this marvelous Machete is the special blood red Robin logo on the headstock, adding just a little flourish to this simple yet striking guitar 🤘🎸

Don't tell Winnie the Pooh, but we may have used one of his jars for this new Rawhide! 🤫 A featherweight Fakimba body in a honey finish makes this guitar easy to gig around, and a maple neck and rosewood fretboard make it even easier to play!

Pickups are Rio Grande Pickups - a Muy Grande Humbucker in the bridge and a Vintage Tallboy Strat in the neck, providing balanced output with a fat low end and glassy, chimey highs. 🎸

But what makes this Rawhide extra special is not only does it sport a classic Robin reverse headstock, but it features a specially made rear-mounted electronics system! Since the customer asked for no pickguard, we had to get crafty and figure out how to install the electronics from the back of the guitar, rather than having the rout and control plate on the front. We ended up really liking this "no frills" look, so if you want it for your Rawhide, let us know! 🛠️

Robin Machete 251003, the Purple Passion! 💜

This one's a very special set neck Machete, with a swamp ash body and a maple neck in an eye-popping transparent purple finish, complete with an Ebony fretboard brandishing extra classy custom mother-of-pearl star inlays 🌟

The powerhouse of tone in this Machete is a single Rio Grande Muy Grande Humbucker which pops with a black gloss top and provides defined low end and excellent articulation for both rhythm and soloing alike 🤘

Hardware includes an Original Floyd Rose floating tremolo system with locking nut and all black tuners and single volume control

This pretty Robin RG-80 came back home to us for some setup work and a cleanup... Still plays pretty dang nice! 🤘 Japanese-made Robins from the Tokai factory are still highly sought-after, especially models like this strat style RG which saw very limited production numbers.
