Book Clubs Update! ✨️

We're starting the month off with some amazing books!

- Romantasy! We heard the votes loud and clear! The Poison Daughter was selected and we will meet on Tuesday Sept 29th 6pm-7pm to discuss all details!

- Romance! If it Makes You Happy- First half through Chapter 18 will meet on Sept 21st 6pm-7pm. Full book discussion on Oct 5th 6pm!

- Dark Romance! The Ritual full book discussion will be on Sept 17th at 6pm!

You are NOT required to purchase these through us to attend, we want anyone who wants to come and meet new people to be able to hangout for an hour and talk about some amazing books! 🫶

We just wanted to take a moment and announce an exciting new accomplishment for us!

We have officially become a part of the world that is Bookshop.org 😀

For those that don't know, using bookshop.org you can now support Booked Up by selecting us as your indie bookstore when shopping online and getting books delivered right to your home! 📚

It may be a small victory but as a small business, we take those right?

As always, we could not be more grateful for all the support we have received over the last 8 months now!

Every time a Libro book order comes through we see you! Every time you purchase a pre-order or craft night ticket, we see you!

Here is our monthly calendar once again full of amazing events and book clubs!

Things to look out for:

📚 Author signing with Kassidy VanGundy on Sept 12th from 12pm-3pm!

📚 Craft Night on Sept 18th from 6pm-8pm where we will be making pumpkins out of books!

📚 Book Swap on Sept 26th from 2pm-3pm (details to come)

📚 For those who helped vote on our Romantasy book club: we will be starting with The Poison Daughter by Sheila Masterson and meeting on Sept 29th from 6pm-7pm to share thoughts!

Romantasy books are definitely a fan favorite and we hope to create a space where readers can come together and talk about what makes them so special 📚

Sometimes life can get away from you... be sure to make intentional moments of happiness you can always remember ✨️

We needed a break and even if it was only one night away, we enjoyed the time! Of course when traveling north you have to stop at your favorite fellow indie bookstores to catch up and support one another! 🫶

Nacho Mama’s Bookshop and Book Nerd will always be places we can go and feel at home. Be sure to check them out if you haven't had the chance!
