From the beginning, Elleinad Books was created as a space for our community to gather, where kids and families could fall in love with books.
A small little pipe dream has become an important place in our community, while our community has also become such an important piece in my own life.
Over these four years, you’ve brought your children in for their very first books. You’ve let us help you find the perfect story for a new sibling, a big feeling, a hard season, or a special milestone. You’ve filled our storytimes, made crafts at our tables, celebrated birthdays with us, discovered new authors, and turned ordinary Saturday and Sunday mornings into memories.
We’ve watched little readers grow up before our eyes. We’ve gotten to know grandparents, parents, teachers, caregivers, and, most importantly, so many wonderful kids.
And this year, you helped us take another big leap as we moved into our new home in the College View neighborhood. Watching Lincoln show up for us — again and again — has meant more than we could ever put into words.
Elleinad Books is more than a place to buy a book.
It’s a place to pause.
A place to connect.
A place to discover.
A place to be a kid.
A place where someone knows your name and probably knows what book you should read next. ❤️
