It is banned books week!!! The theme of this year’s event is Let Books Be — Protect the Freedom to Read.

Banned Books Week was launched in 1982 in response to a sudden surge in the number of challenges to books in libraries, bookstores, and schools. This event highlights the value of free and open access to information and brings together the entire book community — librarians, educators, authors, publishers, booksellers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas.

Come get a banned book or three and check out our display! There is something for everyone!!!

Okay friends, you know the drill! We got a huge donation of well-loved romances and thrillers. These are all FREE to good homes (slash, classroom libraries, Little Free Libraries, etc.), but we will happily accept $ donations to help us continue to spread the book love through our community. Comment what you'd like and I'll try my best to keep up with First Comment, First Served! -Tory
