Connecting the district has been part of the Signal House vision from the beginning.

These early concept studies - developed between June 24 and June 27, 2026 - show how the idea evolved:

June 24: Connect structured parking, Signal House and the theater corridor.

June 25: Turn the skyway into a recognizable third-level arrival.

June 27: Activate the entire pedestrian corridor with food, gathering spaces, lighting, solar infrastructure and downtown movement.

Signal House has never been envisioned as simply filling an empty building. The larger vision is to connect downtown destinations, strengthen pedestrian activity and create more reasons for people to move between Main Street, Railroad Square, the theater and surrounding businesses.

One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about developing Signal House is learning how much history is packed into a few blocks of downtown New Port Richey.

The more I learn about Main & Bank, Hollywood East, the Hacienda, the old theater, the river and some of the wonderfully strange stories around this city, the more ideas it creates.

Signal House has always been about more than designing a building. It’s about creating reasons to come downtown, explore, play, eat, meet people and discover pieces of New Port Richey you may have driven past a hundred times without knowing.

I’m going to start sharing more of those ideas here, along with a few early games and interactive surprises for the people following along from the beginning.

The story is just getting interesting.
