In Loving Memory of Robert “Bobby” Tarasowsky

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Robert “Bobby” Tarasowsky. Bobby was so much more than a respected professional in the liquor industry. He was a loyal friend, a devoted family man, and a genuinely warm person whose welcoming smile could light up a room. He was someone you always hoped to see at industry events, knowing that he would greet you with a hug, a smile and many times, he had a great story or joke to share. His presence made every gathering that much brighter.

For 47 years, Bobby dedicated himself to the w**e and spirits industry, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues, customers, and business associates throughout his remarkable career. He placed tremendous value on personal relationships, and his loyalty as a friend was never in question. In a world that can sometimes feel increasingly replaceable, Bobby was, and always will be, irreplaceable. His loyalty, his warmth, and the genuine friendships he built were a reflection of who he was—and why he will never be forgotten.

Above all else, family was Bobby’s greatest love and proudest accomplishment. His children, Brooke, Sam, and Nadia, meant the world to him, and his love for them was at the center of everything he did. His two grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy and pride. Bobby’s strong family values were evident in the way he lived his life and in the importance he placed on the people he loved.

Bobby is survived by his brother, sister, three beloved children, and two grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, friendship, kindness, laughter, and unwavering loyalty. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his wonderful sense of humor, his generous spirit, and the way he made people feel that their friendship mattered.

All of us extend our heartfelt condolences to Bobby’s family and loved ones.

Funeral services for Bobby Tarasowsky will be held on Friday, October 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Gutterman’s Funeral Home, 8000 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury, NY. The service will also be livestreamed through the funeral home’s website, Gutterman's Jewish Funeral Homes.
