The Middle East is returning to growth. Our latest exclusive analysis finds that Middle Eastern retailers on JOOR increased wholesale transaction volume in H1 2026 by 26% over the prior year. A monthly breakdown of like-for-like retailers' purchases reveals a pullback of -5% year-over-year in March following the onset of conflict in the region. However, transaction volume returned to growth in April, May, and June 2026, signaling renewed optimism as retailers place orders for inventory to be delivered in the forthcoming months.

Over the past few years, the region's growth has consistently outpaced that of transactions on the platform overall. As such, the Middle East has increased its market share from 3.1% of total GMV in H1 2023 to 4.4% in H1 2026, underscoring the region's strategic importance to the global fashion industry.
