Main Street Books

09/16/2026

Bad news first - Main Street Books will be CLOSED on Tues. & Wed., Sept. 29 & 30. 😟
GOOD news - we're closed due to getting new lights installed! Didn't want the electrician to worry about working over customers, and certainly don't want YOU to browse under a ladder and open light fixtures. 💡🪜
Please remember to make an appointment prior to bringing books in for credit. We're prepping for lights installation and need to keep floor space clear. THANK YOU!!! Dana, BookWoman 😊📚

Really hoping to do Build a Bargain Bag, Round 2 this weekend! We received 9+ boxes of CHILDREN’S books and would love to get them in the hands of kids. BUT! The weather has to cooperate. Books & rain don’t mix. Check back here Friday and Saturday to see if we can pull it off. 🤞
Same deal - build your own bag for $6 & we’ll give $3 of that to the Food Pantry.

Happy to report we sold 20+ Bargain Bags plus some random smaller bargain purchases. We'll be adding 1/2 of those profits to our regular Donation Jar where money has been donated all of July and August for Bargain Book purchases. A check will be delivered to the Helping Hands people in the amount of $400! This money supports their Back to School Supplies project as well as other good things they accomplish for our community. Thanks to all of YOU who shopped and supported this Local Cause!

The Reedsburg Area Food Pantry will be our next Local Cause. Keep an eye out for a Build A Bargain Bag ROUND TWO....soon!
