Happy Labor Day! Celebrate the end of summer and it is a bit on the hot and sticky side here so summer will be with us for awhile longer. Enjoy what is left.

Country Sampler has been busy preparing the showroom for our annual "American Quilt Expo" we like to showcase in Spring Green.

Jeanne's newest fabric line, Heirloom, has arrived here at the shop! Heirloom fabric is available now. Quilts kits are on our website as preorders and will be ready to go out soon - hopefully in the next week to week and a half. We are Feeling like Fall at the Sampler this week as the fall quilts and foliage has made it's way onto the floor. It is evident as the days grow shorter that fall is in the air. We are busy preparing for the Great American Quilt Show Expo coming to our CS showroom September 8th - 12th. Then it is time for Boxwood Street with Needlework Press from Arizona and Niki Franklin from the UK. This will be an event to remember for sure.
It does not stop there as our American Country Christmas nears with guest designer Teresa Kogut attending and presenting an exclusive new holiday stitchery that can be pre-ordered by the first of September. We will also have another special antique sampler reproduced for me by Shakespeare's Peddler. Oh what fun it is to be so inspired! Plan a visit soon. shopcountrysampler.com

Happy Birthday America!!! We are delighted to be able to celebrate our country's 250th birthday with the most amazing patterns from our stitchery and quilt designers. The out of the box thinking for the fabrics being milled, the innovative finishing, it all makes this handwork celebration something we can all love. We are excited to welcome our guest artists to Spring Green's Annual Jefferson Street Artfair this weekend June 27th and 28th. This seems to officially be the beginning of summer for us. You will be excited over the art on the street, the street food vendors, and the wonderful entertainment going on in our Jefferson Street park. If you can, please plan a trip this way and enjoy the celebration.

Country Sampler is busy preparing for our annual "Summer Camp" next week June 11th - 13th. We are so excited to host 125 guests this camp session and have been busy getting everything ready that makes our camp handwork a fun event to attend.
Our SchoolRoom/ Show Room is ready for guests and we are eager to meet and greet everyone.
Our designers this session are Kimberly Nugent from Samplers Notforgotten, Theresa Vennett from Shakespeare's Peddler, and Paulette Stewart from Plum Street.

Designer Workshop ~ Maggie Bonanomi ~ July 8th and 9th

Country Sampler is hosting a wool applique workshop with Maggie Bonanomi here in Spring Green, WI. We are excited to have Maggie joining us for this event! The projects she will be teaching are NEW and not shown to anyone but us! They are a patriotic wool applique mat and a patriotic wool applique bird.
