Our fall workshop calendar is starting to fill out and I’m really looking forward to this one with Hard Broom Incense! Come explore the rich tradition of crafting incense from tree resins and other botanicals! Each participant will take home 2-3 batches of their own hand-rolled cones, and we even timed class with the full moonrise because we want it to feel extra witchy and seasonal. It’s Hannah Feller’s birthday today!! Come wish them a happy day!! This business wouldn’t function without Hannah and we’re so dang grateful for them! From making beautiful drinks to helping in the shop, to tending the space and keeping it cared for, not to mention holding it allll down several days a week, plus all the ways you supported us postpartum—professionally so I could take space from work and basically not worry about a thing, and as a friend 💚 You are a force, my fellow cancer virgo queen. Here at Hedge Meadow, we’re feeling the buzzy-busy-longass-days-everything-all-at-once solstice vibes. With a big weekend coming up (it’s the Spring Green Art Fair, which brings a TON of people to town) and a lot going on behind the scenes, we’ve decided to keep the shop closed this Friday, the 26th. There’s just too much needing our attention & our intention is to be as ready and rested as we can be before the weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience and we really appreciate your understanding! We’ll see ya Saturday, Sunday & Monday with our regular hours.

The latest addition to our seasonal cafe menu has me actually giddy! Introducing the Strawberry Tonic 🍓🍓🍓 Just strawberry oxymel (strawberries infused into vinegar & honey) and sparkling water. It’s perfectly sweet, a little tangy, and SO good. And did you know strawberry is medicinal? Not just the berry, which is cooling, highly nutritive, and considered to be a digestive tonic, but the whole plant can be used in various ways to support tissues of the body. One of our favorite foods of these early sweet n fleeting summer days!

It’s lilac season, baby 💜 To celebrate, Hannah made an absolutely delightful rhubarb lilac syrup ~ we’re offering a sparkling lilac lemonade in the cafe this weekend, or try it with matcha or in a steamer. And because it’s also Mother’s Day tomorrow, we’re giving away a lilac candle with each order over $75 (while supplies last). Keep it for yourself and let lilac be your mom, or gift it to a deserving mom (all moms are deserving). We’re open until 2 today, and tomorrow 9-1. We hope to see you soon!

The prettiest worms I ever did see! I think this is the 3rd year violet gummies have made their way to the shop around now, this year for a very fun reason….

You’re invited to the shop TODAY for a Spring Green May Day Celebration! Businesses around town are offering fun, springy activities for the whole family, followed by a Maypole at 3pm and live music in the Post House Garden.

Here at Hedge Meadow, we’ll be making mud cups! Our very own , herbalist and sweet-treat kitchen wizard, made us some home-made “mud” and all the fixins’—including these herbal gummy worms—so you can build your own delicious cup.

We’ll be set up on the patio from about 10:30am until we close or run out. $10 to make one and cups are limited. Join us! Then stroll around town for more springy fun 🌷🌸🌕
