Recently named the SA State Luminary at the 2026 Art Music Awards, Melanie Walters is an Adelaide-based flute player who specialises in contemporary music. Her previous Fringe shows have been described in reviews as "exceptional", "highly original", "captivating", and "mesmerising and inspiring."

Drawing on folk tales, poetry, and theatrical traditions, Melanie Walters presents a recital of contemporary flute works that weaves stories through music & text. This eclectic program includes compositions by Nathalie Joachim, Amy Beth Kirsten, and Andrew Ford.

We are excited to welcome the fabulous Flute & Clarinet duo, Duo Demel, into our performance space for a concert this Sunday at 3pm.
With their unique blend of tone colours, Duo Demel (Osvaldo Gomes Santos and Daniel Hasznos) perform music from around the world, ranging from traditional classical repertoire combined with repertoire composed using a variety of ethnic musical elements.

Join Armistice Flute Quintet this Sunday at Flute Tree for the launch of the debut album, "HOPE".

"Armistice" means truce, ceasefire, agreement. This album features original compositions and guided improvisations promoting peace and hope by Liz Cheung, Laura Chislett, Chloe Chung, Jess Scott, and Keyna Wilkins. The album contains 45 minutes of 7 works for 5 flutes including bass flute, alto flute, piccolo and C flute.
