I’m a proud Indigenous Métis woman living in Nelson, British Columbia. I grew up disconnected from my Métis heritage like most indigenous, I felt and carried shame around my identity for many years. It took time and healing to begin reclaiming that part of myself. Today, I journey to reconnect with my culture, history, and community. Hoping to honor my ancestors and the strength they carried. amily traces back to the Red River Settlement, who later migrated to what is now Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan — a place once known as Bonneauville, named after my family.

Trying out the new Cylin beads by Johnbead.
Same thread, needle and tension for each.

Pros:
* cost half as mush as delicas
* the finishes are comparable.
* so perfect so they prevent gaps.

Cons:
* takes away the charm of hand made. Too perfect almost.
* no flow with fringe, fringe is pin straight.
* edges a bit sharp, may cut thread if pulled too tight.
