Re-use. Re-cycle. Re-generate.

Here’s how you can make a difference with Chapman Opticians 👇

RE-USE:
If your glasses are still in good condition but no longer needed, we’ll send them abroad through Lions Clubs. Frames are sorted, matched with suitable prescriptions, and redistributed with charities like Unite for Sight to help someone else see clearly.

RE-CYCLE:
Got broken frames or old lenses? We recycle:

• Poor condition or broken glasses
• Old or unused lenses (including dummy lenses)
• Contact lenses
• Contact lens blister packs

These are processed by specialist recyclers and turned into new items like outdoor furniture and play equipment.

RE-GENERATE:
For every box of glasses returned for re-use or recycling, we fund the planting of 20 trees to support environmental sustainability.

You can drop items off at any of our practices; we’ll handle the rest.
