🚨 A LITTLE PLEA FROM THE POP-IN SHOP! 🚨

We absolutely LOVE donations… ❤️
But unfortunately, household rubbish isn’t quite what we had in mind! 😂

Please, please don’t leave household waste around the back of the shop. Our lovely volunteers are here to run a charity shop — sadly, none of them secretly work for the council’s waste department! 🤣

Having to clear rubbish takes up our volunteers’ time and can cost the charity money — money we’d much rather use to help people in our local community. ❤️

So please…

Thank you for helping us keep the area clean, tidy and rubbish-free!

🙏OUR PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!🙏

We are absolutely delighted to share the news that The Revd Lizzie Reynolds has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of St Mary’s, Luddenden, and the Erringden Benefice! ⛪❤️

After a long period of waiting, we are so excited about the future of our churches and can’t wait to welcome Lizzie to St Mary’s as we move forward together.

Lizzie has sent us a lovely message to share her excitement about joining us:

💬Hello everyone,
I thought I would send a wee note alongside the official announcement just to say how excited I feel about coming to join you all. It will be such a privilege to serve as your priest in such active and community-minded churches.
I am really looking forward to meeting you, getting to know you and the beautiful area.
In the meantime, you will be in my prayers. Your prayers for me and my family would be much appreciated!
With every blessing,
Lizzie💬

📅 Lizzie will be licensed on Tuesday 9th February 2027 at 7pm at St Michael’s, Mytholmroyd.

Please join us in celebrating this wonderful news and keep Lizzie and her family in your prayers as they prepare to join our church family.

We can’t wait to welcome you, Lizzie! ❤️⛪🙏
