Some seats hold you. This one defines the benchmark.

The Recaro Pole Position is the finishing jewel in any modified interior. Japanese. German. French. Doesn't matter. The moment you see that silhouette - those slim, angled harness slots, the aggressive side bolsters - you know the car means business.

Its shell DNA traces back to the Porsche 964 RS, one of the most sought-after seats in automotive history. But unlike those unobtainable originals, the Pole Position is still here, still FIA-approved, and still setting the standard.

It's the seat that's been copied a thousand times. Yet the real thing is unmistakable.

Proper benchmark cool.

Some designs don't just belong to a car. They belong to an era. The OZ Rally Racing wheel is one of them. Worn by Toyota Celicas, Lancia Deltas, and Ford Es**rt Cosworths on the world's toughest stages, it became a visual shorthand for 90s WRC dominance. It's the wheel that was on Carlos Sainz's car when he won his first world title in 1990.

The modern version keeps the DNA - the white finish, the red OZ Racing logo, that unmistakable central disc - but adds a sharper spoke design that makes it look even wider and more purposeful.

A forty-year legacy, still turning heads.

The MK1 Mini Cooper S (R53). It's the ultimate cheap track car contender. Plentiful. Cheap. Actually has a boot.

But is it better value than an MX-5?

The R53 gives you supercharged torque low down and a chassis that's surprisingly adjustable. The MX-5 gives you RWD, pop-up headlights (on NAs), and that high-revving theatre. Both weigh about the same. Both have problems. Both will put a grin on your face.

The difference? The Mini is more practical, more torquey, and currently cheaper to buy. The MX-5 is more of an event, more of a commitment, and prices are climbing.

So what's it going to be? Supercharger whine or sideways exits?

Toyota accidentally created the perfect drift platform. The JZX100 was designed as a million-mile luxury cruiser - over-engineered, bombproof, and built to last. Then someone figured out you could bolt a 1JZ or 2JZ in with factory mounts, swap in a manual box using a standard crossmember, and suddenly you had a budget drifter built to take abuse.

This Chaser 😘 (or is it a Mark II?) runs exactly that formula. 1JZ swap. BMW manual box. Work Emotion T5Rs on Uniroyal Rainsports. Origin Labo kit. Blitz. Nardi. It's a proper drift car, fresh from its last Drift Matsuri battle and currently being put back together.

Still needs to go lower. Still room for more power.

We sell the bits that make builds like this work. Drift tyres. Coilovers. Suspension parts. Turbos. Safety gear. Seats, harnesses, fire systems, helmets. Everything you need to keep a JZX sliding on a drift day, reliably. We've got you covered.

Ever wondered what separates a proper track tyre from a fast road tyre? Let's break down the anatomy.

Big blocks of tread. That's the semi-slick difference - more rubber on the road means more grip when you're pushing hard.

Water channels. Not full grooves, just enough to clear standing water and keep those big blocks cool when things heat up.

A square, stiff shoulder. This is where the magic happens. That sharp edge improves steering response and communication, so you know exactly what the front axle is doing.

Progressive breakaway. Good track tyres don't snap. They talk to you, letting you find the limit without finding the gravel.

We've got one of the best track tyre ranges in the UK. Whatever your budget or requirement, we'll find you something that sticks.

You've got the car. You've booked the day. But have you actually got everything you need?

Here are 5 things you didn't know you needed for a track day.

1. A fire extinguisher (or Fire Stick) – Small, cheap, no mess. Better than watching your hard work go up in flames.

2. A proper steering wheel – If your knees are hitting the wheel or you're feeding it like a bus driver, you're losing control. The right size and dish transforms everything.

3. Racing gloves – Sweaty palms + alcantara wheel = slip. Gloves give you consistent grip, lap after lap.

4. Race boots – Feel through the pedal box matters. Chunky trainers hide the brake zone. Thin soles, proper feedback.

5. A jerry can – Circuit fuel prices are criminal. Bring your own, top up between sessions, and keep smiling.

The Bola B1. Yes, it's a nod to a certain timeless Japanese tuner classic. But here's the thing... that design endures for a reason.

Six spokes. Deep dish. Big brake clearance. And now available in PCDs that open up that iconic 90s JDM look to almost everything. Hot hatches. Estates. Sleepers. You name it.

Because the look shouldn't be locked to one platform. Whether you're in a Subaru, a BMW, or a van, you deserve a little Japanese flavour.

Ever seen a supercharger that looks like a turbo? Meet Rotrex.

It's a centrifugal supercharger - driven by a belt, but with a turbine-style compressor housing. The engineering? A planetary traction drive system that spins the impeller up to 120,000rpm using special fluid instead of gears. Vibration-free, compact, and surprisingly efficient.

So what's the catch? There isn't one, really. It delivers linear, predictable power more like a big NA engine than a kick-in-the-teeth turbo. Less heat soak than traditional Roots or screw chargers. And because it's self-contained, no tapping into your engine's oil system.

We stock the full range, from C30 units for smaller engines up to C38 for serious builds. Plus all the accessories and car-specific kits you need.

The third way to charge your engine. Worth a look.

They say a band’s first album is always their best. Word Gets Around. Definitely Maybe. Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not. Raw, unfiltered, and impossible to replicate.

The Mk1 Golf GTI is the debut album of hot hatches. The one that started it all. Back in 1976, a group of VW engineers worked after hours on what they called the ‘Sport Golf’. The suits only signed off on 5,000 units. They ended up building 460,000.

This immaculate example rolled into our fitting centre for fresh EBC brakes and an exhaust fettle. Still turning heads. Still setting the standard. And still proof that the original is almost always the best.

That 6-month project? It'll be the best 3 years you'll spend over the next decade getting it on the road. We've all been there.

For those moments when your pride and joy is more garage ornament than weekend warrior, meet the CTEK CS1 Gen 2. A battery charger and conditioner that keeps your battery healthy during those long, unintentional hibernations.

And yes, it's app-connected. Check on your battery from the sofa. Get notifications when it needs attention. Because even if the car isn't moving, at least you can pretend you're making progress.

Walk past a car with Tillett seats and you know it's serious.

But the real story isn't the carbon weave or the FIA certification. It's the shape. Tillett have spent decades perfecting the ergonomics - working with drivers from Formula 1 to club racing - to create seats that hold you perfectly without needing thick, heavy padding.

The result? Less fatigue. Better feedback. A lower driving position. And a seat that weighs as little as 3.8kg.

They look the part. They perform the part. And they're built in Britain.
