Good news: Britomart Central, the new building planned for the heart of our district, has received resource consent. More exciting, visually speaking, is that Cheshire Architects and Peddlethorp have released this flythrough of the building.

It shows more of the crafted brick and timber details on the lower floors, the generous ground-floor courtyard gathering space surrounded by great cafes and boutiques, and the intimate laneway entry from Tyler Street.

You’ll also see how the office floors enjoy an abundance of natural light and harbour views, and you’ll get a glimpse of one of the beautifully planted outdoor terraces.

All of this right above Waitematā Station and in the centre of everything else Britomart has to offer? We think it’s going to be one of the best places to work in the city 🖤

The historic Excelsior Stanbeth Building on Commerce and Customs Street is entering an exciting new era, with its beautiful refurbishment by Cheshire Architects now nearing completion.

Stanbeth House was built in 1885, followed by Excelsior House in 1897. Once home to businesses servicing Auckland’s port, the buildings have now been brought together as a single address, blending heritage character with contemporary office spaces.

The iconic Shane Cotton mural, Maunga, remains a standout feature, recently receiving careful touch-ups by artist Ross Liew, who worked on the original installation.

A handful of bespoke office suites on Levels Two and Three are still available, ranging from 185–248sqm.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing these beautiful buildings into their next chapter. We can’t wait to share the finished spaces with you!
