A feel good story from your FLGS! Jackson started coming in a few weeks ago and loves to play chess. He's had his eye on a particular chess set since Day 1.

Enter a gentleman and his son who visited the store recently. They left behind a bit of cash and asked us to pay it forward for someone.

It's official from GW: I will be receiving 30 boxes of the new Armageddon 11th Edition Starting Box!

I'm at 23 reserved right now. If you are still wanting one, please come in or call the store so I can add you to the list.

The box will launch on June 20.

Thanks to a LOT of work by David Brown, Bored?Games! hosted a Heroscape Store Championship tournament on May 23.

Renegade awards each Store Champion a Crimson Widow miniature on a gold stamped base AND an invitation and Day 2 Bye to the Heroscape World Championship at Gen Con!

All of our other players received a Crimson Widow miniature on a silver stamped base and a set of Einar Themed Order Markers.

Congratulations to Austin - Store Champion, David - 2nd place, and Blake - 3rd place!!

Now that Bored?Games! has its own Heroscape terrain and access to pre-order unpainted and PAINTED miniatures, we're hoping to grow our Heroscape player base.

Thanks again to David for organizing and to all who competed!

We need a battery recharge, so we're gonna take an unscheduled pit stop and close on Sunday.

Enjoy the race, the long weekend, and PLEASE, take a moment on Monday to reflect and remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
