The Tattered Cover Book Store is a locally-owned, indie bookstore with eight expansive locations & four smaller satellite stores in the greater metro-Denver area. Established as a small storefront in 1971, it now has locations on Colfax Avenue, across from East High School; in Historic LoDo (lower downtown), at the corner of Wazee & 19th Ave. There are also small Tattered Cover bookstores for commuters in Denver Union Station, and on each concourse at Denver International Airport.

The DCC books are our top sellers and have been for nearly a year. Almost all of our booksellers read them and LOVE them—we wanted to make ‘Book Haul’ something fun and different for our stores and our customers, but we accept and acknowledge that we missed the mark with the branding here. We apologize—we were genuinely just excited to make/design this promo after coming up with a fun name. We never intended to cause confusion ❤️‍🩹

For what it’s worth, there truly are hundreds and HUNDREDS of hardcovers on sale for 50% off across all TC locations now through September 7th! And if you’re a DCC lover like we are, you’ll absolutely love these titles that ARE 50% off 💚
