The Made In Virginia Store www.madeinva.com In 1986 the Mitchell family decided to open a store to honor all of the great history and products of Virginia.

The original store was located at 807 Caroline Street, but in September of 2010 the store moved to a larger location down the street to 920. In 2021, sisters, Natalie & Nicole, became the new owners to continue the tradition.

Honestly, we’re pretty sure it’s somewhere in the state handbook.

These Hubs Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper peanuts have been a favorite around here for good reason. They’re the kind of snack you buy for the drive home and somehow finish before you even leave the parking lot.

Hey Fredericksburg! ☀️

It’s officially June, which means summer is right around the corner… and you know what that means. It is about to get HOT. Which also means everyone walking around downtown is going to be carrying around an iced coffee, water bottle, or little treat drink at all times.

We just got this adorable Virginia themed Swig travel cup in and we are obsessed with all of the little artwork on it 💙 Walk around and sip in style this summer.

One thing I’ve noticed lately is how many people come into the shop and pick up our postcards 💙

At first, I kept wondering who everyone was sending them to. But it turns out, a lot of people actually save them or frame them as little keepsakes from their trips to Fredericksburg.

Honestly… such a fun idea. A tiny little memory that doesn’t take up much space, but still reminds you of a good trip.
