So me and Lauren Cunningham set out early this morning for an annual 30 mile yard sale, and WOW.

We talked our way into someone’s basement, another guy’s storage unit, an abandoned house, and stopped at countless sales along the way. Man…

It is truly one of my favorite things to do. I love hunting for what’s been forgotten about, pieces of the past that have simply been deemed “old clothes.”

I love talking to older folks and hearing their stories, their memories, and where they wore that old shirt or jacket. Seeing them smile as they relive that moment in their head, all while I get the chance to carry that piece and its story forward.

That’s what makes all of this so special to me.

Not our usual uniform up here at TLR, but maybe Mick Jagger’s.

Vintage 1980s punk / glam / hard rock genuine leather patchwork “Mother F**ker” pants.

These are on another level. Pictures don’t even begin to do justice to the amount of work that went into making them. Black and white leather patchwork, individually applied lettering, cutout detailing and hand-laced construction throughout. Completely over the top and truly one of a kind.

Size 29 × 30.

Well, yesterday will be hard to forget! 🔥

A random garage sale turned into a guy pulling out framed 80’s concert tees with the original ticket stubs… and after telling him what we do and some heavy persuasion, he let us into his grandfather’s attic.

As if that wasn’t enough, we hit a few more hole-in-the-wall spots, antique malls, thrifts, and ended up heading home with the truck full.

One of those days where every stop seemed to lead to something else. You just can’t beat it.
