LET'S GEEK ABOUT THESE CHAINKATA VARIANTS REAL QUICK! ⛓️⚡

Daniel Warren Johnson's dope new sci-fi epic, Chainkata, is hittin' comic shops on November 18, 2026, and Image Comics is launchin' the title with an oh-holy-damn 116 retailer exclusive covers! Several comic shops and legendary artists have teamed up to deliver homages, multi-artist lineups, and stunnin' limited editions.

While Atomic City Comics doesn't have a retailer exclusive on the horizon for Chainkata, as comic fans first, we want to give a massive congratulations to all the shops celebratin' this release with their own covers. We wanted to highlight even more of them, but Meta Business Suite limits our carousel to 10 images! LMAO!

CHECK THESE 10 MUST-SEE COVERS:

•616 Comics (Jordan Noir Foil Variant): An iconic homage to the classic Akira bike slide.

•Comics And Signatures (Zé Carlos Variant): A brilliant, action-packed Spider-Man homage.

•Stupid Fresh (Mess Skottie Young Variant): Luma's chainsaw sword making Cloud Strife's Buster Sword look tiny!

•Slabulous Comics (Ryan G. Browne Variant): Blood and gore rendered with beautiful intensity.

•Cover C (Daniel Warren Johnson Sword & Sorcery Variant): A dope main-release cover by DWJ that you can grab directly from our racks.

•Wittsknot Comics (Victor Irizarry Variant): Incredible speed, power, and weight behind Luma's strike.

•Thatboychrisp Comics (Julian Shaw Variant): Insane torque and motion as bodies go flying.

•Third Eye Comics (Nick Dragotta Variant): Nick "The Goat" Dragotta of Absolute Batman fame showing Luma in her true power warrior form!

•Pop Culture Comics / Hive Comics (Todd Beats Variant): Heavy manga vibes displaying an amazing duality of power.

•Cover B (Daniel Warren Johnson Black & White Variant): Available on our main racks, following the killer monochrome style DWJ executed on Do a Powerbomb!

ATOMIC CITY CITIZENS: Which cover is your absolute favorite? Ya'll gonna try for a non-local variant cover?
