Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing with a heavy heart to share that our beautiful sister, Candace, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, May 6th. She was surrounded by her children, family, and her best friend as she took her final breath.
It is impossible to put into words the depth of what we are feeling as we process the last eight weeks since she was first hospitalized. Losing someone we love so much, and so quickly, feels entirely surreal. We are deeply thankful that we were able to bring her to our parents’ home for her final two days so that we could all be together during her passing. Our hearts are resting in the knowledge that she is safe in Jesus’ arms and that she is no longer in pain.
To all of you who showed up with such kindness and generosity, thank you for your financial support and for caring for our family so deeply. We felt the Lord’s presence and grace through every kind word and action. Please know that any remaining funds will be used to cover her celebration of life and to provide ongoing support for her two children, Tim and Lia.
We are taking time to breathe and be together as a family this week. We will share further details regarding Candace’s upcoming Celebration of Life service as soon as those plans are finalized. With Gratitude Kristen & The Lee Family
