In between, we do our best to conserve what we have left! Established in 1986, Western Rivers Flyfisher is Salt Lake City's oldest and only specialty fly fishing retailer and outfitter, offering a wide selection of fly fishing's best equipment, accessories, clothing and guide service to the Provo River, Green River and a host of other excellent Utah waters. In 2007, we were awarded fly fishing's "Retailer of the Year."

Suffice to say, Nick and I had a great time Beh Kay Lodge with a great group of guests last week. Happy fish, tough fish, moments of glory, wind, sun, rain and everything in between! Good food, drinks and great company daily, though.

A very cool operation and spectacular fishery that has us already plotting our return, no doubt.

“You’ll get what you get when you get there” has been Steve’s resolve for the decades that he’s been returning to British Columbia to chase steelhead with a swung fly. Every year, the cards are laid differently though it just so happens that this year they were dealt a special one.
