September is such a busy month with back to school and sports and all the things, but it just makes taking a little time...

September is such a busy month with back to school and sports and all the things, but it just makes taking a little time to slow down and be together that much sweeter. Come hang out at our shop and enjoy some stories and together time this month!

We're kicking it off with A Very Hungry Caterpillar Storytime & Pottery Painting this Sunday! We'll start at our shop reading a few stories, then then we'll all head over to Bare Bowl to paint your choice of a Very Hungry Caterpillar tile or sculpture! The storytime is a free event, but you'll need to purchase a ticket for each child wanting to paint a piece of pottery (ticket link is in our bio).

Our Second Saturday Storytime this month is Little Blue Truck themed! We'll read the new Little Blue Truck book and other fall stories, then enjoy some themed activities.

Fat Bear Week is right around the corner, so come get excited for it on September 19th with stories featuring some of our favorite fictional bears, including Winnie the Pooh who turned 100 this year!

We're finishing out the month with a very exciting storytime featuring beloved Tiny T Rex author Jonathon Stutzman and illustrator Heather Fox! They'll be reading stories, answering your questions, and signing books! Plus we'll have a fun sock monkey craft and sock scavenger hunt! We're doing family tickets for this one, and they include a hardcover copy of Jonathon & Heather's new book, Beware the Sock Monkeys! Grab yours at the link in our bio.

Whatcha reading this week?

It's hard to think about anything right now besides the monumental loss of our beloved Dolly Parton, but we're so grateful for her legacy, her love of books, and the way she shared it with the world. I keep thinking of her every time I pick up a book, about what a tremendous impact she made and will continue to make with all the wonderful work she started. What a truly special lady ❤️

Out of all the event requests we've gotten for this fall, this might be the one we've heard the most. So here it is, it's official, we're doing a Twilight New Moon party!

We'll have themed snacks, drinks, and games, and of course, a screening of New Moon. Your ticket includes Twilight swag and an optional add-on of the gorgeous new deluxe edition of New Moon. Tickets are limited, so don't wait!
